What skills are children practicing at this age? Mastering toddlers:

  • Refined grasping and hand-eye coordination
  • Movement of their body – sometimes pushing a chair or cart, taking first steps, running, climbing, pushing a tricycle with their feet, swinging, hanging by their arms, and carrying heavy objects (maximum exertion)
  • Language – there is a language explosion around this age. Name everything around you, use rich language, read books and play vocabulary basket games
  • Some one-step practical life activities can be offered – e.g. B. drinking from a glass, pouring a glass of water with a small pitcher/jug
